An original painting by Alan Arthurs. Alan’s work is highly unusual as he works using enamel paints onto perspex, with vibrant glossy colours.
Duporth House was converted into a holiday camp, and has now been bulldozed (Alan is not sure what happened to the ghost who used to appear in the windows there). Alan used to frequent the television rooms as a child, as his father did not let him watch television when he was meant to be revising. Alan often used to sneak off on Sunday nights to watch Colditz.
