An original painting by Alan Arthurs. Alan’s work is highly unusual as he works using enamel paints onto perspex, with vibrant glossy colours.
Silver Bullet is the nickname for the chromed kaolin slurry transporters. They were used on the longeest train journey in Britain – from Cornwall to Scotland’s paper mills in the early 1980’s.
The painting shows a clay pit, stent tips, clay processing dryers and architecture and infrastructure to transport the white gold.
